Emily is a speculative fiction author who writes books that can be described as magical and macabre. Blending humor with horror, or romance with fantasy, she hopes to leave readers with something to think about long after they're done reading or simply an escape from our world, where magic unfortunately doesn't exist…or does it?

Emily is from Louisiana, though she's called many places home over the years. When she's not busy writing something swampy, spooky, or swoony, she enjoys spending days at the beach with her family and finding new musical artists to put on replay.
